There have been many experimental studies to develop bocal, which allows the new system to be tuned. As a result of these studies, the "New Tunable System Bocal" was developed and patented. After the invention was patented, it was licensed, commercialized and exported to countries such as Germany, Italy, America, Malaysia, Russia, Iran, Japan, Romania and Ukraine. It was created by professional bassoon players in the state. It is actively used in institutions.
At the same time, he produced a new form measure by examining the effects of the reed form on the bassoon. Thanks to the production of propolis reeds, its use has enabled the production of longer-lasting reeds. He developed the Microtonal Bocal, which enables the bassoon to change intonation during performance and makes the bassoon usable with its microtones, and his idea was patented. With Microtonal Bocal, he made it possible to obtain maqams on the bassoon in traditional Turkish music, contemporary music, jazz music and in music genres that require modal sounds, such as Indian music, and introduced the bassoon to such musical genres.
Many articles have been published in national and international refereed journals. Yörük Ali Efe participated in the International Folk Culture Research Symposium. He worked for about a year, together with the efforts of many Turkish masters, to produce a completely Turkish-made domestic bassoon. Many professional bassoon brands have created their own measurements by averaging the measurements, effects and features of the brands. It will use these measurements when mass production begins. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2021. The bassoon has eleven patented inventions that ensure its ease of use. His students received first, second and third place awards in international competitions. He is currently actively working as an associate professor at Çukurova University State Conservatory.
